Unipower is a Transformer manufacturer and we are very strict about our quality management services and security check that ensure the safety of both our customers and the products. We sell wide range of specialty electrical transmission, distribution and generation equipment in and around India.

Our company’s quality management programme is administrated by ISO standards and is double checked by our in-house testing systems. Starting from the initial stage of processing the raw materials to the final stage of delivering the finished product, we conduct all the necessary routine check-ups and test that meet all the Indian standards as well as trans national standards. Our quality check includes tests like temperature rise test and partial discharge test.
To confirm the technical competency and the reliability of the product they also undergo successful testing of representative ratings at CENTRAL POWER RESEARCH INSTITUTE, (CPRI) which is the apex test house of India. Our recent test has shown up to a rating of 1600 KVA. You have nothing to worry about exporting the products since Unipower is also an UL approved production unit for export jobs. We believe that we are responsible for the safety of our customers and thus we design products which are encompassed of necessary qualities like fire resistance, compactable,moisture proof, reliability, over load capacity and another strong suit like capability withstand from short circuit.All our products are highly reliable and efficient. They are highly durable and are maintenance free assuring a hassle free experience.

History : Production and Quality Control
We are an ISO 9001:2008 certified company founded a decade ago and we have our production facilities at Kinfra industrial park,Nellad ,Valayanchirangara,Pampady,Kottayam.Our fabrication unit solely for transformer tank and panel enclosure manufacturing at Aymanam, Kottayam and a third unit is at alampally kottayam,that is where repair jobs and service of transformers are carried out.We have a very particular and focused objective of delivering optimal power control solutions to the industrial,domestic, international and other service sectors. We design,develop, manufacture and supply plethora of transformer types and associated systems as per our customer's requirement, maintaining international standards.We have a business of over 1.5 billion INR from both the domestic and international markets.
Our History

1998
The company started its voyage in this year and started building oil cooled transformers. Along with it a service unit for oil cooled transformers was also initiated in the year 1998. The following years witnessed a rapid growth of the company. This is the same year when Pampady - Kottayam unit started,which is the production house of oil cooled distribution transformers from 100 KVA to 5000 KVA for domestic markets,in which Kerala State Electricity Board (K.S.E.B) as the main customer.

2004
This year we started our Nellad - Muvattupuzha unit where dry type cast resin transformers of 160 KVA to 3000 KVA are produced. The same unit is also the house for the production of transformer enclosure and core cutting for both the domestic and international markets.We use high tech machineries including 34 station CNC turret punching machines(Amada Japan), CNC press brake(Amada Japan) for enclosure manufacturing, Automatic core cutting machines, Resin casting plants and a Powder coating unit which is having a 9 tank process.

2013
Unipower started exporting its dry type transformers to USA & CANADA from 2013 onwards form its valayanchirangara works. The product range was from 15 - 500KVA tansformers with a production capacity of more than 1000 transformers a month. To meet the increased product demand the unit enhanced its production capacity to 60 transformers per day for the same range.

2016
The unit was further expanded in the year 2016 by enhancing the production range and capacity to 80 transformers per day in the range of 15 - 500KVA. All the transformers complies to UL(Underwriters Laboratory) and CSA(Canadian Standards Association) as well. Production and the products are under the surveillance of UL and CSA with their periodic inspections at our works.

2016
Another Unit was opened by the end of 2016 in Cochin Special Economic Zone, exclusively for Final assembly and Export of Ventilated Transformers ranging from 15kVA-600kVA to USA and Canada. The Unit is ISO 9001 certified and an approved manufacturing facility listed by Underwriters Laboratory and Canadian Standard Association.

2019
Unipower started manufacturing and Export of Power Transformers from the new facility at Perumbavoor, Cochin. The unit is equipped with heavy machineries and high power Testing Lab for Power Transformers.
